When someone else trades your account for you, the per-contract transaction charge is more than what you would pay if you were trading your account yourself. We do not yet know what our per-contract transaction charge will be in our new auto-trading program. So for practice, Mike is using a flat rate charge of $35 per contract. The score shown on the chart screen capture below is net of that $35/contract transaction cost.
Also shown is the NinjaTrader performance summary. Note that the commissions are greater than the net profit. But that’s okay. The client still would have made over a Grand-A-Day.
The exact set up is still subject to change, but the plan is that each client can decide how many contracts to risk: 1, 3, 6 or 9 and then fund the account accordingly: $5,000 for 1, $10,000 for 3, $20,000 for 6 and $30,000 for 9. The client can stay at one level or grow the account to qualify for a higher level. Mike’s daily goal will be to earn at least $112.50 net per contract. Thus, a client at the 9-contract level would be making over $1,000 per day.
